This video discusses several different exercises that can help you get pain relief! I’ve been having pain in my upper back lately (between the shoulder blades) and that is because of hunching over, carrying heavy stuff (ie. bookbag) and other activities. I went to a physical therapist and he taught me these exercises. So now I am going to save you guys money and time from visiting one yourself! Now you can learn them for free in the comfort of your home :] these exercises have been working for me, so I hope you find them helpful too!
YOU WILL NEED:
-weights (optional. *Note: 1 bottled water ~ 1 lb.)
-exercise ball
-3-5 in foam roller
EXERCISES:
-Lie down vertically on roller, hands bent; stretch for 60 sec. (twice a day)
-in same position stick chest out and dig elbows into ground. 2 sets of 10 reps (twice a day)
-lie down on roller with it placed in the middle of your back and on the ground vertically. inch roller up back and stretch for 5 sec (twice a day)
-lie down on stomach on exercise ball. keep hands in fist. extend arms, hold for 5 sec and bring forward. 3 sets of 12 reps (twice a day)
-in same position bend arms with palms face down. hold for 5 sec, bring forward. 3 sets of 12 reps (twice a day).
-ice back twice a day (or after workouts)
Update: School has started and I am in my Junior year of high school. Junior year is the most demanding academically and i am taking several challenging courses. This means I also need to balance my time with my schoolwork. I will try my best to upload 2 videos a month. (If that month is really stressful, I may upload just 1. If I have more time, such as holiday breaks, I will try to upload more). I hope you guys understand ?

Suffering From Lower Back Pain?
One of the top reasons that people miss school, work, and other things is due to lower back pain. This is a very common problem that can begin as a small pain and steadily increase over time or it could begin as a serious pain that needs immediate attention from a physician. There are some treatments for lower back pain, but often it can be difficult for people to completely get rid of the pain. If your lower back pain is the result of an injury, you may only be able to get pain relievers and take it easy for a while until the body naturally heals itself. Sometimes lower back pain requires surgery in the back in order to be relieved. Often when you don’t have any reason for having the lower back pain, you could have a serious problem and need to have it checked out immediately.
Serious conditions that can cause lower back pain include Arthritis, scoliosis, or even cancer. The best thing is to seek treatment as soon as you detect the problem. That way you are more likely to take care of the problem before it gets worse. People that are known for treating lower back pain include physicians, osteopaths, chiropractors, and acupuncturists. If you are unsure what is causing the pain, it is recommended that you first see your primary practitioner and then go from there. For more information on lower back pain and its treatment, begin searching online. You may be able to discover a possible source for you lower back pain that you never considered before.
